Good morning, Medina County! 👋
October has officially arrived, and apparently nobody told Medina County to ease into it.
Restaurant Week kicks off Friday, Wadsworth is going full Snoopy, and there's even a spooky book fair for grown-ups involving booze and witches.

AROUND THE COUNTY
Medina Restaurant Week Starts Friday. Here's What You Need To Know

If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to try somewhere new, you’ve got one.
Medina Restaurant Week runs October 2–11, featuring independent local restaurants and special seasonal and signature dishes. Scan the QR code at participating restaurants for a chance to win daily gift cards. Visit 10 or more participating spots and you’ll also be entered into the grand-prize drawing.
THE SCOOP: You’ve got 10 days to explore, so there’s no need to cram it all into one weekend. Try somewhere new now, then check another spot off the list next week. Your stomach will thank you.
EAT & DRINK
Chicken, Beer & Another New Spot Coming to Medina Square

BOSS ChickNBeer is headed to 117 Public Square, taking over the former Swine BBQ space. The Medina restaurant will be the concept’s fifth Northeast Ohio location, joining Berea, Bay Village, Seven Hills and Cuyahoga Falls.
Expect chicken, wings, sauces and beer in a casual counter-service setting. This just screams ‘Merica!
THE SCOOP: The Medina location is expected to open this fall, but there’s no official opening date yet. We’ll keep an eye on it.

The event benefits Greater Cleveland Volunteers. Pickle…I just felt like saying pickle one more time.
